Angela Akins Garcia was basically in some form of obscurity until the marriage of the sports star thrust her into the limelight, so there's a dearth of information about the life events that took place prior to the time she got married the pro golfer. The media knows that she was a 1985 baby, but the date and month of her birth are not available. Angela Akins Gracia was a young girl who was a sports enthusiast and began playing golf. She then took a few lessons on how to play golf and mastering the skills behind making an effective and calm swing. Over the years, she gained more knowledge. When she was a high school student, she won 8 tournaments. Garcia, who was Mable Falls' high school coach at the time, guided her team to third place at the regional tournament in 2003. She chose to pursue journalism instead. She landed her first job upon graduation, as a Fox Sports Southwest Reporter.
